Elizabeth Blancas is an emerging queer Xicana artist based in San Francisco, California. Elizabeth’s work focuses on capturing the essence of influential Women of Color, whether that be her homegirls or cultural icons, through portraiture. She also highlights the importance of her experience as a first generation Women of Color,  by creating work that centers traditional pieces of her upbringing that makeup all the complexities of her and other brown womxn’s identities.
